Timeshares are being replaced by travel club memberships at a rapid rate. Some reasons include the fact that travel club memberships are less expensive, don't require the payment of maintenence fees, come with unlimited usage and destinations. Timeshares typically can be used only 1 or 2 weeks per year and are usually hard to exchange.
