This video is about a Cancun timeshare presentation that was caught on tape. I am not sure how the people were able to tape the presentation but that is what you get to see. At least some excerpts from one on the presentations.
The couple says that they were told that they would have a 90 minute presentation but in fact they said they had 3 presentations that lasted all day. What we get to see is a few minutes from one of the presentations.
The pitch here is that they are buying a 10 year membership to be able to come to Cancun Mexico for two weeks per year. With the use of the golf course and spa. It seemed that these amenities were free but it was hard to tell.
They kept being fleeting mentions of 20 weeks available worldwide but that was never delved into. There was also a gift of 2 free weeks in the Dominican Republic as a sign up gift.
The couple was being offered a 2 bedroom suite at a total cost of $3995 with a down payment of $1968 and the balance paid at $61 per month for 40 months. However, there was no mention of yearly upkeep fees.
It was apparent from the video that the couple was very confused by the presentations and could not tell what was being offered. At the close by the the salesman the couple refused to sign anything and said they had to check the Dow Jones to see what they had available to spend.
It is not apparent if they escaped without buying.
