Has anyone ever received a Florida Vacation from Synergy Resort Marketing Group? Is it a scam?

Has anyone ever received a Florida Vacation from Synergy Resort Marketing Group? They'll give me a trip to Orlando, FL, Daytona Beach, and a cruise to the Bahamas for 8 and I have to go to a timeshare presentation. Is it a scam?

It's not exactly a scam, but once you go to that timeshare presentation, you are gonna feel like it was once you leave. I've known very few people who get hooked into the timeshare presentation via some sort of incentive, (money, hotel vouchers, trips, etc.), that were able to get away without signing up. Of those who signed up I don't know any who did not regret it. These people are really good at pressure sales and will get more out of you than you'll get out of them.

Don’t buy into this. I personally got caught up on this one and it is like a ball and chain. Please don’t do this. The pesentation is very high pressure. They kept me for 9 hours. They literally verbally beat you up. Now Im stuck with a timeshare I will probably never use, can’t use it for what I thought I could, and have almost 900.00 maintenence fees each year.

Absolutely not. I traveled with Synergy and had the time of my live. Not only did we save money but we also recieved additional discounts along the way. The only negative is there is no airfare, but they give you enough time to shop around. I would recommend to anyone.

I also bought a package from Synergy last year and know like you said their number and website do not exist. How can we track down these guys so I can sue them for fraud if they won’t return the money I paid?

I’m with Ron. Do they still exist? Did someone buy them out? How do we get what we paid for or our money back? I’ve done these timeshare presentations a three different times and I’ve never bought anything at all. I just got cheap hotel stays, free rental cars and free tickets to Disney World. I bought this package because I’m familiar with it and know how to play the players, but I can’t play them if they don’t exist…
