Timeshare Buying

We're looking into getting a timeshare but there's so many places it's hard to know who has the best service and offers the most for your buck without breaking the bank. We'd prefer something deeded at the minimum but we're open from there as far as point systems or scheduled weeks...etc. Any feedback on companies and info on how they work is greatly appreciated!

I'm travelling to gran canaria in August 2008 for two weeks, I'll be taking my family with me and hope to enjoy my time there. My questions are 1: RCI who is my exchange company for my timeshare has informed me that ANFI & RCI both have a 1 in 4 rule at Anfi (which means i'll be unable to go again for 4 years). I wish two book next years holiday for 2009, Could I get a guest cerificate issue from a friends RCI account to book next year holiday at anfi would this work
